Test Procedure

The thickness of the original sample is measured. The sample is placed in the compression device. The sample is compressed to 50% of the original thickness, placed in an oven at 150° F for 24 hours. The sample is then removed to relax at ambient for 24 hours. The thickness is measured and compared to the original.

Why the steel ball drop test does not indicate impact protection performance?
